The ethos

While I don't know all there is to know about the web, design and usability there a few things I value.

» Simple & usable - the web can be a complicated place at the best of times, keep it simple and place high importance on usability. Conservatism aside, Jacob Nielsen has some important things to say.

» Accessible - make sure you cater to disabled users, multiple bandwidths and multiple platforms.

» Standards compliant - Seperate content from presentation. Make a website that is more accessible to more users on more types of internet devices and browsers PLUS you have a presentation that is easily changed and adapted over time; how could you say no?

» Pretty - make the user feel something, make them like being at your site.
