Diamond in the rough
The world wide web is almost an immeasurable mass of information and content. Part of it's beauty is that it allows anyone to shape it and add to it. With good you must take bad; it is also open to abuse and misuse. Not only in the kinds of criminal and unsavory acts that first come to mind but in our tendency to add rubbish to an already bulging rubbish heap.
That is why, for me, it can be so nice to stumble on a site which is polished, refined and choc full of quality content. TED.COM (Technology, Education, Design) is a the website for an annual conference which "brings together the world's most fascinating thinkers and doers". That's just waffle though. Start out by watching Vilayanur Ramachandran: A journey to the center of your mind and then go from there.
It'll really bake your noodle.
